Vocabulary Building
As you naturally surf the web in your native language, we show you words in the foreign language (or languages) you have selected. Some words will be those you have already seen in previous sessions, and some words will be brand new. Our powerful AI engine will select the frequency and type of words that are best for you. If you surf enough, you will naturally absorb the foreign words without needing flash cards. You can go to the Statistics tab in your Account Details and see the foreign words you have encountered, with stats showing how many times you have seen each word.

Myth: With just 1,000 - 2,000 words you can understand 80%-90% of a foreign language.
The Truth: You will need about 20,000 words to feel fluent and to have the ability to speak about subjects other than shopping, the weather and family. Knowing only the most common words will severely limit your understanding of a conversation -- leaving out the most interesting and enjoyable parts.
Myth: Only very smart people can learn languages, especially thecomplex languages.
The Truth: It’s not about intelligence. Rather there is only ONE thing you need to become proficient in a language. And that is to spend thousands and thousands of hours being exposed to the language. Pure and simple. But if you work, study, have a family or any type of social life you probably do not have enough time.
Myth: Unless you spend at least 1-3 hours a day learning or drilling withflashcards you will never be fluent.
The Truth: Flashcards are cruel and unusual punishment. The brain is not programmed to remember things we do not care about.

Wordz Language Modes
Getting started is easy! Instead of needing to select many parameters, you simply choose the desired mode and the target language(s), according to your personal goals. Our AI algorithms will then fine tune all of the parameters based on the language(s) you select, and the content you are reading. Switching between Modes and Target Languages is easy to do in the Settings section.
Immersion Mode
Our most popular. One language, many translations within a page. The AI algorithm is used to translate new words, but there is also a lot of emphasis on showing words that you have previously seen -- leading towards these words being naturally absorbed by
your brain.
Maintenance Mode
Choose up to three languages in this mode. Less words are translated as compared to Immersion mode, but still powerful enough to effectively increase your foreign language vocabulary. In this mode there is an equal balance between new words and previously seen words.
Explorer Mode
Choose up to five languages to see translations from time to time. Lots of fun to see new languages, in context, and maybe help you to choose your next target language.
Is Wordz Browser complex to use?
Wordz Browser looks just like a standard internet browser and all of the complex AI work is done behind the scenes.
Simply indicate the language(s) you wish to learn in the Settings section, and then browse and use the web, social media, chatbots, web messaging etc. as normal. As web pages load, we detect interesting words or phrases; then we add an adjacent translation in the foreign language(s) you wish to learn or maintain. It’s as simple as that !. There is no need to click on anything or to do anything, other than to read the content that you have chosen. No distractions and no interruptions to
your workflow or concentration.
